The ground rules for ordering from our little bakery — kept as plain as we could make them.
Ordering with us
Everything at ButterBite is baked to order in small batches. Placing an order — through the site, by phone, or in person — is an offer to buy; the order is confirmed only when we accept it and give you a confirmation with pickup or delivery details.
Same-day availability is limited. Custom and celebration cakes need at least 48 hours' notice, and wedding or large-event orders need at least 2 weeks.
Prices and payment
All prices are in Indian rupees (₹) and inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. Prices on the site apply at the time you order.
We currently accept cash on delivery and UPI on delivery. Online advance payment (and Razorpay) will be added later and announced on the site.
Cancellations and refunds
Standard items can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup or delivery. Custom cakes can be cancelled up to 48 hours before, with a full refund of any advance paid.
Later cancellations can't be refunded, because your bake is already in the oven — but talk to us and we'll always try to reschedule. If we have to cancel (oven failure, ingredient shortage, or anything beyond our control), you get a full refund of any advance.
Pickup and delivery
Pickup is from Shop No.2, Paradise Tower, Rander, Surat, daily 8am–10pm. Please bring your order confirmation. Delivery is available within our delivery zone; slots and charges are shown at checkout.
Cakes are delicate. Once an order leaves our hands in good condition, we're not responsible for damage during third-party delivery — though we'll help you sort it out wherever we can.
Allergies and dietary information
Our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, sesame, and soy, so we cannot guarantee any item is free of allergens. Please tell us about allergies before ordering, and treat all dietary labels as guidance, not medical advice.
Fair use
Please use the site lawfully: no fake orders, no OTP abuse, no attempts to disrupt the site or other customers' accounts. We may refuse or cancel orders that breach these terms.
Intellectual property
Photos, copy, recipes-as-described, and the ButterBite name on this site belong to us. You're welcome to share photos of your own bakes and tag us — just don't copy our content or branding for commercial use without permission.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing here limits rights you have under Indian consumer-protection law.
